Four Au Pain in Kermorivin

Originally an ancient bread oven
Accommodates 2 - 4

Kermorheven is a hamlet of two dozen cottages in the heart of Morbihan, 11 miles south of the historic town of Pontivy. St Nicholas des Eau, an outstandingly attractive town on the Blavet river, is only 3 miles away and from here you can take a barge trip on the river, hire canoes, walk, fish and indulge yourself in two excellent restaurants and a creperie.

The cottage was originally an ancient bread oven, once supplying the needs of the community. It is now the focal point of a very interesting, unusual, self-contained, modern cottage.

There is a rustic charm with exposed roof timbers and the bread oven itself is a feature of the lounge/dining area. The ceiling to floor windows in this room provide a beautiful view of the woodland and countryside.

The ground floor is tiled throughout and comprises a lounge/dining area with couch, armchairs, dining table and chairs.
The kitchen is equipped with fridge, gas cooker, washing machine and microwave, and a breakfast bar.
There is a bathroom with WC, shower attachment and wash hand basin.

There is an open-tread staircase to the mezzanine area which has a double bed.
The couch in the lounge is also a bed-settee.

Pillows and duvets are provided and linen can be hired.

Outside is a private patio with garden furniture, a grassed area, then a meadow leading to private woodland.

This cottage would be ideal for couples, or to be rented in conjunction with La Carrière for two families holidaying together.

Basic shopping can be found in St Barthelemy or Baud (8 minutes by car), which has excellent supermarkets, shops and restaurants.
