A modern French house just 10 minutes from Auray and Vannes on the Gulf of Morbihan and 15kms from the beach at Locmariaquer, with a view to the river.
The accommodation is on one floor and consists of an attractive fitted kitchen, well-equipped with dishwasher, fridge, freezer, gas hob and electric oven; a spacious, comfortably furnished lounge/dining room, with French TV; 3 double bedrooms each with a double bed; a bathroom with bath, shower attachment and washing machine and a separate WC.
There is a small enclosed lawned garden to the front and rear of the house and barbecue and furniture are provided.
The local village has boulangerie and charcuterie,
larger supermarkets are within 4km. The golf course of St Laurent : http://www.formule-golf.com is just 16km away in Ploemel.
Horse riding, water sports, boat trips around the islands of the Gulf of Morbihan, the enchanting coast with its sandy beaches and lively fishing ports and the historical market towns are all within a short drive of the house.There is a colourful street market in Auray each week on Monday and Sunday mornings and the restaurants in the town and port region are well worth a visit.
You can also follow a picturesque walk from the house along the river and through beautiful countryside.
The owner, Mme Chapelain, has an apartment in the basement of the house: the two dwellings are separate and soundproof.
Bed linen, towels and a cot are included in the rent.
