Originally built in 1773 this Breton cottage has been transformed into a comfortable and very attractive holiday home, tastefully furnished, providing spacious accommodation ideal for a large family or two families sharing. It stands in a very large private garden, facing south, overlooking beautiful rolling countryside and woodland.

A barbecue and garden furniture are provided to add to your enjoyment of the garden.

On the ground floor is a large lounge/dining room featuring an open fireplace, exposed beams and attractive stonework. There are comfortable settees and armchairs and traditional refectory table and benches to seat 10.

The non-fitted kitchen is pleasantly furnished with old pine, is well-equipped and includes a fridge/freezer, electric cooker, dishwasher, large breakfast table and has an open fireplace.

There is a utility room and WC on the ground floor. A handcrafted stairway leads from the lounge to the first floor where there are 4 double bedrooms. Each room has a double bed, one also has a cot and another a single bed as well. Each bedroom also has a large fitted wardrobe . The bathroom is attractively decorated and has full bath, shower cubicle, WC and WHB.

If you are looking for an active holiday then golf, riding and water sports are all close by.

The house stands in a very large garden, facing south, overlooking beautiful rolling countryside and woodland. It is on the edge of the forest of Camors and Floranges with marked walks and picnic spots.

Malachappe is 2kms away for local shopping whilst Landevant, 6kms and Plouvigner 12 kms have larger supermarkets, restaurants and banks. The historic market towns of Hennebont, Vannes and Auray make interesting day trips and the sandy beaches of Etel and Erdeven are approximately 12 kms and Carnac and Quiberon are short drive away.

Duvets and pillows are provided. If you do not wish to use the bed linen provided please let us know.

Electricity and water are metered and a reading is taken at start and end of stay.
