A traditional stone and slate cottage, which has recently been tastefully modernised to high standard providing comfortable facilities on two floors. Kerio is a hamlet of only 3 properties situated within a no through road and set within the beautiful breton countryside.

The accommodation comprises an open plan sitting room/kitchen diner (27'6 x 15'8), the kitchen area fully equipped with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dish washer, micro wave etc; the dining table seats six.

Two 3-seater sofas are provided in the sitting area together with other occasional furniture, also a television that is set up to play your favourite videos and DVD's. A small selection of these is provided. The wood burner adds to the cosy ambience.

On the first floor the larger of the two bedrooms is accessed directly off the landing and is fitted with a brass King Size bed. The smaller bedroom also has a double.

The Bathroom includes a thermostatic shower over the bath; separate toilet facility.

Outside there is a barn and large area of lawn to the west of the cottage. An old ruin on the opposite side of the lane is an ideal location to enjoy a barbeque or just relax with that glass of wine!

The local village of Ploerdut is one mile distant and offers good everyday shopping facilities to include boucherie, boulangerie, fripperies, pharmacies, restaurant and bars.

The town of Guemene-sur-Scorf is a further 4 miles and this includes banks and an Intermarche with petrol station. The larger cosmopolitan town of Pontivy is another 13 miles to the east.

Why not take a boat trip on the River Blavet at St Nicolas des Eaux (17 miles). Other places to visit include the beaches of the Quiberon Peninsula (56 miles to the south), Lorient (31miles) and a trip to the Hennebont market (27 Miles) is a must for most.

Quality pillows, duvets, all bed linen and towels are provided within the quoted charges. Water and electricity are also included. Logs are included October - April inclusive.
