A beautiful Breton longere full of charm and character, decorated and furnished to a high standard in traditional Breton style.

The house is situated close to the Blavet river in a mature lawned garden surrounded by woodland.

The entrance is into a tiled hall, with cloakroom, then into the dining room and lounge. This has a magnificent open fireplace, large dining table and benches, comfortable armchairs and couch and other pieces of character.
The kitchen is separate, with fitted cupboards, fridge/freezer and microwave. There is a washing machine in the utility room.
A wooden staircase leads to the first floor with polished wooden floors and rugs. Here are 2 double bedrooms, one with a brass double bed, the other with a Breton “lit coin”, slightly narrower than a conventional double bed. There is a bathroom and separate WC.
On the second floor there is a spacious twin bedroom featuring exposed stonework and beams.

At the rear of the property is a flagstone courtyard with barbeque , swing-seat and furniture and to the front is a landscaped garden with lawn and mature shrubs, again with picnic table and chairs., and an enclosed pond with ducks.
There is also a boules court where you can play the popular Breton game!
You can enjoy walking or cycling along the Blavet river where you’ll find many little cafes to stop along the way.
Languidic has good local shopping facilities and a market and just a few minutes drive, and the historic town of Hennebont , 10 minutes away has a famous market.
The beaches of the south coast are about 25 minutes drive and horse riding and golf within easy reach.

The owners also live on site but will not disturb your privacy.
